He is as useful as any dervish hero (aka, not much), but more cool.
He goes around following you like a pet or a henchman. You can use him anytime, yes. |

He's useful to a low-level character going for Survivor who wants protection but doesn't want to bother guildies about it.

I personaly don't use mox. To big and can block vision at the worst times. Use Meloni if you want a derv
Good hunting Ant edit..if Mox is the only hero available the answer changes to yes! Way better than a henchie |

The most useful thing about MOX is how easy he is to get.

I think like most heroes, it depends on the build you give the big knucklehead

I always wondered why is that better than a N/whatever that frees their elite and secondary to, say, take off hexes, which are particularly dangerous for physicals.

http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Hero - for info on Heroes, in general. You can use it anytime, instead of a henchman. If you do want to use it, equip it with a good Scythe and a proper set of Runes & Insignias. |

MOX is more useful if you want to have a body blocker i guess... But it could also be bad since he might just block your view... Ovreall I would say he is the most unique hero there is.

Hes a dervish, he has no special ablilities. Would you normally have a dervish hero? If so take him.
